Hello, could someone please spend some minutes to enlighten me about what is currently going on with our guild ranking? I am wondering why there have been several changes to no. 1 over the past couple of days, first it was Arcane, then VVolfpack and now Vortex... Please tell me, even if you can just bring up some interesting gossip.

P.S.: Just saw that some new people are in the top 5 realm owner list... anyone who could explain the background?
P.S.2: Did you know that the major 6 guilds own more than 40% of all private realms? It seems something is going on here...

My only question is why does it matter? Having the most realms shows nothing about a guilds virtues, community aspect. or characteristics in general. It's just a number and will always be just a number.

Thanks for asking. The simple reason: I am crazy about numbers. But in reality, I am just wondering about the politics behind the numbers (people moving from one guild to another and why?), why are people able to get 50+ realms in days and so on... I am interested about the hidden agenda (if there is such).

Not every guild has a secret agenda to be top guild. (or not so secret for you Arcanians ) Some people left, some people joined, other people spent money. In reality all it is is credits and moving among members in each of the guilds. No need to make a topic about it that will basically light the flames before they've even started.

VV, many thanks for the clarification. But it's not about being no. 1, I was more wondering that the "Big 6" could grow that fast within weeks and I just can't see a reason for that. I mean, it started some weeks ago with Ardania attracting people in a very charming and smart way... and now the Big 6 are growing and growing like wheat with bonemeal, people who claimed to have no money at all just got 50+ realms in addition to their original realms, the top 3 players have around 200 realms each and some players seem to move from one guild to another - but who and why? This is just sooo interesting…

I sold DarelleZindad 86 realms, 3 beacons, 2 stacks of diamond blocks and all sorts of other tasty goodies for 86rc ... that gave her a small boost in the realm rankings

A lot of people in the top guilds have loads of credits (not locked up in items or realms) and can buy dozens of realms in minutes whenever the mood strikes them.
