Sounds to me like you offer an amount you would sell 10k credits for. If Roobean likes the price you offer, say $10, then she will pay you that amount. Not a surprise amount per 10k credits you send xD

I recall intelli (or one of the admins) saying that doing this is against the rules. Please, correct me if I am wrong on this.

You are wrong; players can do whatever they want with their credits, credits which they have earned normally through the system, which is completely legal =].

There is no absolute ruling on the subject that I can find. However, I think the majority of minerealm disagrees with exchanging irl currency with in-game credits. It would be super-helpful if Intelli could make up his mind or someone could link to an early post of his ruling. If he doesn't come to a consensus, I assume you can do whatever you want within the bounds of what is "right."

The problem I see is that people can essentially make minecraft their job. And that's not helpful to any one in any way.

The only problem that I can see is that we'll see an influx of Chinese credit farmers who will bottom out the IRL market for in-game currency. As long as they don't grief I think that would be hilarious.
