It's a bargain, yes, and it's pretty close to spawn, but zombies are virtually useless.

Well not really, Ebius has a good zombie xp farm, and the good thing is they don't attack you, unlike skeletons, so they are good for going AFK for a long time, then coming back and chopping them up.

They have good rare drops, so if you are exp farming, more likely the chance of you getting it!

That's it, and iron isn't hard to find, therefore, zombie spawners aren't needed
