Lack of diamond sellers?

Whats been going on lately, people used to be selling diamonds a lot but in the last 2 months, hardly anyone has been selling them. why??

They've been selling them to the DE!
I'm joking of course, i have no idea whats going on, and we've been noticing the shortage as well. I wonder how much diamond ore is actually left....

You can go to -5k and +5k. Therefor its 10k x 10k.

I can explain it. What happened about 2 months ago? The update adding ravines and abba donned mine shafts. Wel I was exploring a ravine and mineshaft that spanned about 8 realms and I was at prime diamond level and never found a single diamond. I was in it spelunking for about 3 hours and nothing showed up. I got tons of iron gold and god knows ow much coal. So I ask, do diamonds spawn in these to natural occurrences ?

As of 19:10 MST on Mon, 13 Feb 2012 there was 1,127,822 Diamond Ore in game. Go figure.
