Hi, I hope there is no rule to disallow this (if there is then mods just remove this post).

(I hope there is none but nowdays world is crazy and makes almost everything illegal, besides working, consuming crappy food/products and paying taxes or taking part in invasions in army ;-))

Anyway.

Want to buy in game credits (realm credits). I need to buy say 6000 credit, and I pay.

Or - I give you virtual currency "bitcoin". It rocks (check wikipedia.org article or bitcoin.org etc), and +30% price bonus if we use this method of payment.
For bitcoins you can buy(trade for) various stuff on internets, or just exchange it back to USD/EUR/wharever (there are few exchanges).

Or I can use paypal but then no bonus (PP relly sucks).

Please post or PM the price you want for 6000 CR, denominated to Euro (ok, or USD, just write which one and I will select best offer tomorrow (if any .

Example: you want 5 USD by paypal. Or 1 USD as bitcoin by current bitcoin exchange rate.
Or ~1000 usd as 100 bitcoins. Etc.

If this isn't against the rules it should be.

Why? Take note, this is still a legitimate server: I would pay some PLAYER to get HIS credits he earned in-game.

Not paying a mod to "spawn" this realm credits - this would be not fair.

So are you saying to pay for credits or to buy credits off of people? I don't like this idea, it would make it so people are buying off materials with real money and things. To me this could be seen as an unfair advantage. Sorry but I don't like this idea.

Pretty sure Intelli doesn't want people making money off his server and I'm also pretty sure this has been mentioned and shot down before by an admin.

Earn your credits, gather some resources, and then build something nice. Instead of whatever cobble/dirt mansion you're trying to protect now.

So is it unfair if someone gives me credits because they like me IRL?

This would make no sense.

I don't see anything wrong with that. I just think that buying credits off of other people would change up our credit system too much.

This will only ruin the game and people will no longer take the effort to work for their credits.

If you do not mind, I would like to discuss this idea more with you then :geek:

• what if they like me because we play basketball together?
• what if they like me because I bought them a beer? Still ok to do so?
• what if they like me because I will buy them a beer?
• ...or send them the beer?
• ...or send them the money to buy the beer?

Unclear, hard to define, and totally un-enforcable laws are bad laws.

You would have to define it as:
not give credit in return of any kind of outside-of-game payment ...or barter ...or trade ..or gain of any kind ..or preference.. also not giving prices lower then Official Prices.... well some communists tried to impose such rules on their economy to make it fair - it did NOT gone very well.... ;-))

I prefer:

Anyway already people with IRL money can get credits: just "hire" some local kid to take pix and go to town with some mountain
And do you see some serious upset of rules?

You are afraid of capitalism connected to IRL? Then we can make rules like limit income per user-account (but then, just shell out 20 USD and you can have another MC account...)

I think Intelli doesn't want real money to get involved in the server, period. (except for donations)
