Hey MineRealm,

Been working on a potion shop project for the last couple of days and here are the results.

The shop can be found at -225x -175z. All potions cost one emerald and you will receive three potions of the type you selected.

Follow the following instruction to purchase a potion:

This looks great, i can't wait to try it!

Nice job, BSG. Very convenient and reasonably priced.

Well, they're renewable, have a relatively fixed value, are already used for trading (with villagers), and have significantly lower value (something like 5.5 credits each) that allows smaller increments to be used than with the 100rc-value of diamonds.

I guess this is what happens to a server economy when they figure out how to break villagers :P
So much for the enchanting business...but that's a different topic.

Villagers aren't broken deel, they are super OP now and make enchanting pretty much pointless :D
Nice trade-off considering they nerfed infinitely repairable tools.

Yeah, that's what I meant. "Broken" as in "they broke the game by being ridiculously OP".

I haven't played Minecraft for a while now. Would you be able to clarify how villagers have become OP and made enchanting pointless now?

The dumb butts at Microsoft thought it was a good idea to allow people to trade rotten flesh for emeralds, along with that, raw fish. You may think "why fish?" well, as of now, since guardian farms a thing. People are racking in dc's after DC of raw fish. (I'm sure everyone here has seen trade full of 08's raw fish dumps at some point) Raw fish is a by product of guardian farms, so they fuel off each other. Emeralds for fish. Sell emeralds to gain other materials (maybe more land for guardian farms) and so on. TBH-I think that's another reasoning behind the dissapearance of the minecraft fad.

It wasn't Microsoft Jeff, mojang were determined to kill off xp grinding and this is the result.

I personally would rather have infinitely repairable tools and armour but effv book villies are nice too.

D: why would they want that?

Ah, but the difference is that infinitely repairable tools are convenient because you can keep them rather than getting new ones, and don't flood the market, completely destroying it.

Nathan Adams ‏@Dinnerbone
@sckchui I think it should be more about creativity and less about require AFKing
Nathan Adams ‏@Dinnerbone
I like the creativity of xp grinders, but I don't like that some feel like they're required to "play seriously" considering their easiness
Nathan Adams@Dinnerbone
The goal isn't to stop you from using them entirely or punish you even, it's just to dissuade you from using them all the time vs other ways

That's what I mean, Why keep DC upon DC of tools/books when you can make a couple sets that last a lifetime.

Also, what market? You should ask around, quite a few of the guys are struggling to sell anything. No one with money plays anymore.
