If you want to get rid of it, the best way is to do auctions where you pair up something like an enchanted pick with the DC of gravel, and give them all of the gravel before you give them the pick. I did that with emerald ore and netherrack a while back, and it was both effective and hilarious.

Pretty much. Especially when one of the people I sold it to announced that he was paying people to take the netherrack off his hands, so I took that deal and he paid me extra for it. It was a rather strange auction overall.
