The types of armor are gold, iron, diamond, and chain right? That's four but you have more than that. Is that just a texture pack or something...I'm not sure. What are those armors?

They're all leather armor that's been dyed.

Noob alert!! xD
You must have missed some features of the 1.4 update (i think). Just place a piece of leather armour in a crafting table with a dye to change the colour.
