One new bow and 64 arrows.................For enemies out of reach
Two ghast tears................Needed to brew a valuable and helpful potion
Several enchantment books:
Unbreaking III and another unbreaking III......................keeps things from breaking while in combat
Protection IV...................protects you!
2 protection III's.............Also protects you!
protection II..................Kinda protects you!
2 Fire protection 3....................Protection from fire!
2 Feather falling IV.....................For moments when battling up high or falling into traps
3 Sharpness III.............................Makes your sword sharp and powerful
Infinity I...............................You no longer have to worry about running out of arrows!

And of course, you can't do anything with these books alone, so I've added in an anvil and 5 bottles o' enchanting for using the anvil.

Tips on how to PvP.
Assess your enemy's weapon.
Recongmize your location and any features about it.
Warm up with 100 laps around spawn and 200 sword swings before engaging in combat. Frosty does it, and it preps him every time!
