.... for 46 emeralds. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

Out of the goodness of my heart, I'll enchant the book for you "at cost" (you give me a book and 46 emeralds) as I have little use for the trade. I don't pvp.

Just thought I'd throw it out there, if anyone wanted to take advantage of it.

Since I have I use for emeralds I will take that deal

Well it's cool to see a villager selling a useful enchant like that, but 46 emeralds...jeez :S That's a bit much. I'd rather try to get Prot IV by grinding normally...

Actually, the best way is to enchant at level 25 (well, 26, since 25 is nearly impossible to get on a table for some reason, but 26 can be obtained by removing bookshelves) and try to get Prot III, then make another and combine if you feel that you absolutely need Prot IV (full Prot III has just as high an armour value). Remember, I'm experienced in enchanting, and I know about these things. If you enchant at level 30, you'll mostly get a bunch of Blast Prot IVs and a few Fire Prot IIIs.

While those numbers were not updated with the addition of books, I believe they are still accurate.

Actually, it doesn't include Thorn. All I know is that the chance of getting Prot III twice at level 25/26 is greater than the probability of getting Prot IV once at level 30 (at least it was before Thorn was added, IDK about now).
