What are spawn realms?
I've never secured an answer to this question. So I'm taking a poll to finally conclude what is considered a "Spawn
Realm".

The options are listed in the poll above.
And by "Circular Radius", I mean all the realms that would fit into a circle centered on spawn with a radius of 'x' blocks.
And by "Square Formation", I mean all the realms that would fit in to a square centered on spawn with the distance from the center to the sides being 'x' blocks.

Technically it would be 325 Blocks.

? Why? Because that's the center of the realm on the 300 line?

There is only one Spawn realm. The realm you actually spawn on. Everything else is a Spawn City realm with varying degrees of closeness.

I am very sure that the first uses of the term "spawn realm" referred to the 4 realms directly adjacent to the spawn hut (and including it).

The reason is, for a while, these realms were different from other realms (smaller & 50k cost). And when people talked about them, the only clear term to use was Spawn Realm.

However, the everyday use of the word really means anything 300 blocks or closer, square radius.


So, depending on the context, it's either the 4 adjacent to spawn OR the majority opinion of 300 blocks outer edge.

300 blocks= about 30 second run

So either of those work for a close to spawn realm.

I voted 300 blocks square formation.

There is no set definition, but I would consider it something that gets a fair bit of attention from the public. Normally a realm on the 4 main roads going directly in each direction from spawn is worth the most.

Id say +-175 is the very furthest on any coordinate I would consider to be a valuable spawn realm. After that the price falls dramatically.

All considered, you would only use a spawn realm as a utility (shop/storehouse) or something that looks nice, you can't build your own city at spawn. So spawn does have its advantages and disadvantages.
