I have a question about buying disbanded realms. I know that you are allowed to buy disbanded realms. But what happens if there are chests for blocks you wish to take, most people say you wait 2 weeks and than you can take. But wait that's where it's wrong I was told by staff that you NEVER take things from the chests. Staff please be clear on what the true answer is. This answer will help MANY fellow minerealmians. Feel free to post comments!

If you own a disbanded realm for 14 days and the previous owner has not claimed any of their belongings only then would it be legal for these items to be considered yours. You never take things from chests that are on a public realm that was once owned but not meeting the previously stated requirements.
Also, it is frowned upon to buy the realm with the sole intent of acquiring what was left there by a previous owner. As far as I can tell its not technically illegal, but could be considered trolling/griefing I suppose.
TLDR-Don't take what's not yours.

basically, if you own land for 14 days, all that is on it is yours, however if the previous owner contacts you within those 14 days, they get whatever items they want. it is not illegal to buy land, keep it for two weeks, remove the items and then sell the land, but it is frowned upon, especially if you leave lots of random cobble/gravel towers all over said land.

Incorrect, that is just looting, and looting is bannable.
