The Minerealm Contest Thread
All contests will be held on weekends and vacations. Sorry, im having a problem, whenever i try to type something, it automaticly scrolls to the top.

Update: I am going holding a Drunken Scottish Brawl today. The contest will not have an official time, but it will start from 4:00 PM eastern to 6-8:00 PM eastern, and will end up to 1 hours later. If you wish to help, or want to participate, please contact me.

Details about this contest: This contest will have a chest with the persons name on it. The person then puts all of his/her contents in that chest, and the one with all the items wins. All of the persons will start out with nothing, and will have to go into the wilderness to make items and tools to create the things nessecary to win. Rules:
No stealing, you will be disqualified if you are found out, and will be banned for the next 3 contests.
No killing other players, and if you are lieing about being killed, you will be disqualified
No destroying near realms, its ok if you accidentaly destroy some things, but remember those realms have members in them.
Stay within a area near the contest area.

Here is a list of possible contests every contest weekend.

Contests:
Lost mans treasure: Follow signposts and clues to find the lost mans treasure, Keyhen will be waiting at the end where the treasure is buried.
Scavenger hunt: Usual scavenger hunt, find things, bring them back to your designated chest blah blah blah, you win if you find all the objects.
Drunken Scottish brawl: A fight out in the wilderness. (Do NOT start until Keyhen or other official says so)
Can you find me?: Find a certain person within a time limit to win

Be forewarned that contests may be reschedualed because we will be building the contest on that day, to prevent greifer attacks.

I love the idea, a bit underdeveloped though. You may want to look into getting this moved to suggestions until it's better planned.

Well im still devoloping it as it goes, this just, well you could call it an "alpha". As it goes through more contests and greifing problems, i will adapt it to go along.

Ok baffu, your in the contest, and thanks for the help. So far, im thinking of going into the wilderness, and having people find certain items, give me suggestions to add:
a block of wood
gravel
dirt
sapling
2 red flowers and 2 yellow flowers
cobblestone

So are the people going to start with nothing and the first one to get the stuff wins?
If yes, maybe include some mining like, 5 coal 1 iron
5 glass so there is some crafting involved?

Edit: yes having a realm to invite people to for the contests would be good! Yes make a realm for it!
Mabey we should think of a good name the ____ games/challenges?

Aw thanks, your great! Oh, and challenges has 2 l's. Anyways, i am really thinking of making a personal realm for the contests, and there would be a ton of construction, so i would need help from, well, most of the server. I am planning- well ill make a quick sketch of it and upload it. And good idea, im probably gonna use it.

FYI: I am a member of a realm (a leader!)
so I cant leave the realm but I would help with construction and participate in the challenges!

Well during the construction, the realm will be public, but ill need one other person, because when i leave the server, i want to close the construction to protect from greifers.

Im sorry but i'm not wiling to leave my realm!
I will do most other things to help you because this sounds fun!
