That. Other players and myself have been wondering who it is who owns all the villagers in Minerealm.

RyGuy has quite the stash of villagers.

I know there are two directly south of spawn on the railsystem owned by Littlefryingpan (currently banned).

^How I saw that.

I had a whole set of villagers after the wipe and thought to keep them safe, but they just hung around so I left them free. Then one day they all went into the ocean for a swim and died. I watched it happen! It was almost like they had just given up and wanted to swim until their arms tired out.

I thought I saw one still wandering near Abyssus 3 weeks ago, but that might have been a glitch

No kidding. I used the teleported and ended up right where your village is. Looked around, saw none. Got a little angry. Bashed my head into my keyboard a few times. A little more. Bought a new keyboard. Then broke that one.
