I would guess so, but are Optifine and SPC mods allowed? Also I maybe installing the GLSL Shader.

SPC does not work on multiplayer, due to it being Single Player Commands.

Optifine is allowed.

I have never heard of GLSL Shader before. Mind explaining what it is?

GLSL shader mod here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/120 ... -and-more/, upgrades the graphics of the minecraft client. I do not believe it can be used in a way that gives someone an in-game advantage.

If the mod does not give you an advantage over others, it is fine.

I had thought the SPC would be fine, for the reason you stated. Thanks for the help guys.

Be careful if you're thinking of installing the GLSL Shaders Bonejunky, it can be really buggy and will likely mean a fresh install if it isn't installed properly. Plus the basic install has a terrible DoF.

Yea, it can be finicky. I played a skyblock map with it a while back using this Acid trip shader:

Needless to say, it resulted in frequent deaths but was very fun.
