I was trying to download flans mod

and I already had modloader then i download modloadermp then turbomodelthingy but i did that by myself because i couldn't find the tutorial. Now whenever i go to play on the server i get an error msg then black screen. Suggestions?

You've probably downloaded some out of date mods, that are causing conflicts.
I reccomend doing a force update which will reset your client.
Then Minecraft will be compatible and you'll be able to access the server.
Then again if you're using modloader then you can manually delete the zip files with the mods in, in the mod folder.
In any case its best to back up your original minecraft jar file somewhere, so you can always go back to it and a backup of the minecraft jar once you've modded it to include basic mods such as the modloader and HD texture pack support, etc.

Obviously, single player mods are fun and allow you to have interesting games whilst not playing multiplayer. But I would advise against downloading any mods that might interfer with online multiplayer play, since the use of mods which give you an unfair advantage or significantly alter gameplay are against the rules of the minerealm server.

Some mods will not work together, causing that to happen.

I tried manually deleting but now im worse off and just get a black screen. So I force updated and now i have to reinstall optifine.

Did you delete the META-INF folder after installing the mods?

My advice, don't play around with mods and custom stuff unless you know what's what.
