so far I have 4 realm's I'am setting up for the start will expand as needed.
Style's I like so far are
Medieval
Japanese
Modern
if you have anymore Idea's plz list them below
"the theme will be used for decorating purposes aka
Road's
Main Store
City Hall
Etc
Etc
Also if wanted House's can be premade or you can just rent a plot.
Plot size's to be decided

The Japanese theme sounds good, especially if you want it to stand out.
There are quite alot of meidieval style buildings, castles and settlements dotted around the map, so a Japanese theme might work quite welll. Whilst I have seen some pagodas and oriental gardens or minerealm. I haven't yet seen a complete settlement, so this theme defiantely sounds interesting to me.
Modern can be quite difficult to clarrify because alot of 'modern' buildings, at least those build in the last couple of decades can be quite varied in style and form.
Could work very well depending on what you have in mind, but the Japanese theme, perhaps even complete with a temple and Castle could work very well in my opinion.

Location of course will be all important.

If you like Medieval styles you should come and help me build a city around the Grand Cathedral

Here's a good tip - Have something unique in your town that will draw people to it. Like a good EXP grinder for example.
People just won't go to your town just to see it... There are plenty of towns already, really. You've got to stand out above the other ones and bring something new to the table.

I started making a Japanese Feudal Edo Period small 16 building walled town a while back. Here are some screens, note that the town is far from done, but the template is made.
Here are some screenshots.
Hope this helps you in some way if you go with the Japanese theme.

Big recommendation:
Don't build anything you don't really plan to use. Like small houses with nothing in it. In my opinion a big waste of time unless you plan on renting them out.
Just a thought. :o
