Hi, i am currently trying to appeal for a ban, and verifying my IGN is not working. Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there any way to fix it?

If you Minecraft password contains any non-alphanumeric characters like !@#$%^&*() then you may have to change the password temporarily to verify the account. I had to. Another problem may be the Mojang Minecraft.net server being down or too slow to respond to the IGN verification.
