I figured I'd start a support group for when minerealm is down. I've never been an alcoholic or crack addict so I don't exactly know how support groups function, but there's a first for everything I guess (the support group, not the alcoholism).

Wikipedia says in a support group, "members provide each other with various types of help, usually nonprofessional and nonmaterial, for a particular shard, usually burdensome, characteristic. The help may take the form of providing and evaluating relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to and accepting others experiences, providing sympathetic understanding and establishing social networks."

So, hi, I'm mgrinshpon, and I have a problem. Before the server went down, I was building a hammer in a lake. Now, I'm at my computer trying to reconnect every hour. My fists are clenched and sweat is rolling down my brow as withdrawal sets in. My life is a mess without e-blocks. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to endure: harder than differential equations, but I think I might be able to make it without beginning to foam at the mouth.

Me too man, it's horrible...

This downtime has made me make massive plans to change the land.

It is world altering :shock:

All I do is hit the "new post" button over and over.

I'm not happy about the fact that I've been sat at my pc for 11 hours now, trying and trying and trying.

i know how you fill every since i couldn't get on last night have been hitting the log-in button none stop looking at random stuff for about 1 min then hitting log-in about 10 time over and over again didnt sleep.I did leave it this mourning hoping to come home to minerealms to no success......Its just so sad

I too am suffering from withdrawl symptoms... I long for Her Darkness's sweet embrace. And I wish to ROLL in the COAL.... Oh, My Lady! Also I want to builds stuffs.

With downtimes being this frequent and lengthy, I suspect that Downtimeitus will make an incredible spread into the population. I'm currently working on a vaccine, but right now, the only known substitutes are Singleplayer (boring if you don't have anything going on), League of Legends (bring it on ), or a forum game. Hmmm... a forum game.
