i recently made a fairly large mob trap I'm estimating around 400 spawning spaces and after about three hours of waiting for mobs i have gotten 3. i installed a small tweak to tell how many mobs are within 50-60 blocks of me and there is 3-4 at any given time. i have removed the mod btw I don't want to get banned just testing something. anyway i have lit up many caves around. I'm just wondering if its just me or if its a real problem.

so appaerntly i went up in my trap and light was going through the cobblestone and preventing spawning i added a layer around it and it seems to be working even though its still slow.
