The Lightning was set extremely high at the spawn resulting in many people dieing and stuff lost.

I personally lost roughly 25 - ish stacks of glass, 5 stacks of iron bars and 2 stacks of iron ignots, 12 lapis blocks, a diamond pick axe and more.

I know other people lost stuff.

I wish the people who obtained the other peoples stuff would own up, it would make the server better as a community when there are mistakes like this.

Wait, what does lighting have to do with people dying? It was too bright out? This isn't the Apoc server where direct sunlight kills.

Lightning strikes do damage to people. I think roobean meant to say Lightning fail, not lighting fail.

I'm afraid this is a situation all of you will most likely have to live with. It is far too late to role back prior to the occurrence.

Perhaps this is a lesson learnt; don't travel with immense amounts of valuables. Do it bit by bit, and only carry what you immediately need.

Kids, minecraft lesson 101:

Every time you have stuff in your inventory, do a realty check. This means that you store everything in a chest, and then re-take out the ones you need.


If you ever see me walking around, I probably won't have anything in my inventory.
