I was browsing through a "rules" post the other day and noticed this post by kero. The context of which being "can you chase someone to a portal intending to kill them". This happens just about every day in the nether and I was curious as to whether or not this rule is still in effect. If so, then it should be made more obvious to everyone because this happens so often.

Intelli retracted all of the nether rules such as camping and killing while in the portal because there were so many fights about it.

Ok, that makes sense, this was a few months ago.

The rules on the nether and portals get changed on a relatively frequent basis. Double check anything you read on those subjects to make sure you are looking at the most current version of the rules.

The rules are listed here. This is to prevent confusion over old rules.

Essentially the only rules that apply in the nether, currently, are:

No Greifing
No hacks
no mods
No Exploits
No Swearing
