Hey everyone,

If you have a realm in spawn city with snow in it,
please, please, remove the snow.

Also, I'm talking about snow that fell naturally when spawn was temporarily in a snow biome - not snow blocks manually placed.

Edit: In all seriousness though, would it be possible to wipe the fallen snow blocks, much the same way red stone and mushrooms have been wiped in the past?

Christmas is over we don't want no winter wonderland. Get that snow outa here pronto!

It would almost certainly be possible, but the trick would be to restrict that wipe to the area around Spawn City, or else the snow biomes would also be wiped.

Personally, I'm glad to see an effort to get rid of the snowfall in the city. Not because I hate the appearance of snow--I don't--but because it looks so strange to have alternating snow and non-snow (from torches or players who cleaned their realms) areas.

Snow biomes would wipe as well...but it would only last until the next rain/snowstorm.

Would it take only one snowstorm to replenish the snow biomes? My understanding is that a limited proportion of blocks would receive snow during a given snowstorm.

I will do this as soon as I get my Minecraft/Java fixed (spend more time on it). It's broken and I don't have the time to do even a simple fix or even play, but in a few days I'll be on it for my plots.

Oh, about my plots near spawn, I will be fixing them up sometime in the near future. (I know I said soon a long time ago!) I agree that they look horrible.

I'm pretty sure snow only accumulates when that chunk is loaded into memory.

Intelli, why not just alter the redstone script to wipe snow, as snow biomes will be replenished in day, no-one will loose any busy, and it would save you threatening to force-disband people realms.

Everyone else: The snow biomes that people use would be replenished within a few MC days, hours our time, so it won't really affect anyone. Suck it up and support the wipe

I'm just saying, I cleared mine in under a week after snow stopped falling. It's been a long time since then, and people should most certainly should be able to do it in a few days since now. A wipe shouldn't be necessary.
