Ever since the 1.0 update i havent been able to keep sheep. as soon as i get more then 4 sheep into a single chunk the oldest one despawns. i am escpecially mad because i used cocoa beans on a lot that despawned. please help.

I think it's to reduce lag. Also just a little tip, next time don't use a title like this, it won't attract the kind of attention from the admins you'd like when asking for help/why something does what it does.

Try searching the forums for previous threads on the topic, rather than creating a new one to ask a question that the staff has already answered.

I have speant at least 5 months on this server and i have seant over about 15 people to it and i want to know that even though i dont do anything special to help in the economy or anything i can get justice. :mrgreen:

You've been here for like 2 months I am guessing. Being angry with the Admins over something that is just apart of this server doesn't really get you anywhere.

It really isn't a problem at ALL with the latest Minecraft patch...

Sheep eat grass. Their wool regrows. Repeat. Build pens and put 5 sheep in each one (they need to be apart a bit)...

When using colored sheep, BREED them. There is no need to use more than two dye to farm a color of sheep wool. And furthermore, brown sheep spawn naturally.

Ok all of you make a valid point, but what if one day when you had say thirty or so sheep all of different colors, they all dissapeared.

You do know that you can still have hundreds of sheep and they still won't wipe, right? I have about 60+ sheep right now and none of them have ever wiped. There are legit ways of getting around the mobs wiping, you just need to think about it a bit.
