Propose a New Spawn-City Spawn Building Design!

Hey everyone!

We're looking to redesign the spawn-city spawn building.
We're looking for your feedback on how you would like to see the building designed.

The building should be 27 x 27 blocks in size (no height restriction).
There should be room for the trading area, and the current information signs.
The building must also meet the policies outlined here: http://minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2863
As well, the building should fit in with the spawn-city theme somewhat.

Post your suggestions / ideas below. :]

NEW: We have decided we are looking for more of courtyard design. Instead of a building, it could be more of a spawn area, with Trade and info rooms underground.

Could I give my input on what it should look like via prototype spawn building built in creative sp?

You spawn in the air and fall to water below inside a glass tube, the exit has all the signs on each side. The trading area starts at either the top or somewhere around the tube and wraps all the way around with a second floor either under or over it for tutorials and maybe even a public spleef and pvp arena although that would be optional (imo an awesome idea).

Is it just the look of it that can be changed or can some new stuff be added? Like a tutorial area, enhanced trading area? I think a general price list would be cool at trade. But that'd require constant maintenance.

Trade will still be part of the same building, but separate from the spawn point, correct?

Hmm, how bout a checkered floor or ceiling?

I think spawn would look great with two floors, but one is underground. The floor above ground would be the spawning area, and the underground one would be the trade room.

The spawn area could be made of glass and wood. I have also learned from experience that sandstone looks great as flooring, in all texture packs, I might add. Making it of wood would require a type of pattern of wood types (possibly layers).
A glass roof would look great, even better with a spherical shape. The server rules and information could be along a wall, and there should be a path (possibly red wool) to it. The exit could be an arch. Glowstone as light would be a plus.

The trade room would be lit up with lava in the walls, held in by glass blocks. The trading stalls could be in a row, like it is now. The tutorials could be along the opposite wall. Making the floor made of cobblestone/stone bricks/red bricks would really work; the floor would look better with that kind of pattern. Anything not lit by the lava "lamps" would be lit by more glowstone.

I sincerely hope you consider my conceptual design :D

I'll make an example of what I think it should look like in creative mode.

Spawn-City has a theme?

Theme being mainly decorative and welcoming complexes rather than forts or castles. (I think)

Mine is smaller than 27x27. Is that ok?
EDIT:
Decided to make two, one a tree theme and another a nether-style building. Both have two trade rooms (sorry!) and I don't know what the trade tutorials are and where they should be. I'll fix it later.
