Hall of Fame/Shame

A favorite web series of mine a few weeks back featured a Hall of Fame/Hall of Shame on their server. I thought it was an interesting way to salute players and admins that had made an impact for the better yet who no longer played! It was also a way to mark the most serious of offenders and the blaze of glory in which they got caught/banned/etc. I haven't fully explored the central cities of Minerealm but I was wondering if we had anything like this on our server?
With the exodus of some players in the last few weeks, I thought it would be a fun thing for us to try as well. If someone had a realm nearish to spawn that could be used, or in a good central location, it might be a nice new public works project. I am suggesting a main floor for the honored and a subfloor for the disgraced. For the good players who no longer play or have moved on from our realm, a small statute (like a marker or totem) could be placed with their name on it. The vet players could really help on this, keeping vigil for the players that some of us newer Minerealmers might not have gotten to know.
As far as the Hall of Shame portion, I am in no way suggesting that we should reward bad behavior by immortalizing duplicaters, griefers, or exploiters! But when there are stories of dastardly deeds and humorous failures, it might be worth a laugh. Another side benefit might be that it serves as a warning to those who think they can get away with their shenanigans.
Suggestions? Is this a good idea or would it be in bad taste? I think there are some legendary figures in Intelli’s little world here that are worth remembering and whose stories need sharing, for better or for worse.
