There are many complaints concerning the quality of spawn realms. Therefore we should start a list of Spawn realms below the "Standard".

Criteria:
  • in spawn area (x|z:-200 to x|z:200)
  • default texture pack view
  • Not under construction

  • accessibility (roads, doors, high walls)
  • architecture (block buildings, 1x1 towers)
  • materials (netherrack,
  • usage (stores, storage blocks, ...)
Post your "candidates" for the list here!
Also comment if you disagree that the realms listed here are below standard.

Even if realm owners are allowed to have their realms in such disorderly states, it would be really nice if they would take the time to improve them. Don't think of this as a request for official action from you or the rest of the staff, but rather a request for private realm owners to make changes of their own accord for the benefit of the community.

Glad I could help, rip. I think the issue was probably your use of the term "spawn realm." It could be interpreted in different ways--either the realms directly adjacent to the spawn building (which are subject to the standards Intelli established) or other realms within Spawn City (which are not subject to those standards).

Dirt tower was removed. Also removed some floating bits of mushroom. Fort behind it (the "unfinished" building) was fixed up a bit. The netherrack stays as it is there as an accent. The pit also remains unfenced so that people can see the bottom of the phoenix. Not that the blocks at the edge of the pit are not half blocks and can be crouched on.
