help against transparency

I know people who have found my secret storages that were hidden, when they were obviously using a transparent pack. I discovered that apparently transparent ppl can only see blocks that are touching the air, so i made a design so they cannot find your storage without ripping apart the whole place.
legend: [a] = any kind of block to conceal the storage
= storage chest

[a][a][a]
[a][a]
[a][a][a]

since the storage chest is not touching air, they cannot see through to it. So for all you people who may have had their items stolen from a secret storage, use this design

I don't know what's funniest, the fact that you are giving very obvious advice, the fact you are warning about a hazard that could be completely ignored by setting a realm to private, or the fact you gave a 2d design that doesn't even work in game.
Imma go with the latter

1. if the realm has few members, private isnt an option.
2. the design is meant to show that if you completely cover all air around the storage, it will not be seen
3. i know many players who do not know about this, it is for the players who are not aware and/or are new to the game, not for minecraft experts

You're all right in my book.

I've got two members in my realm. Private is always an option. You know, if you can manage the paltry task of only inviting people you can trust. :)

Spritzo made a post about this a while back that is helpful.

Also, I thought that that design got the message across fairly well, when combined with the message.

Edit: You should NEVER rely on the private realm thing. I suspect they are bugged, and will occasionally revert. And seeing as Intelli is still improving them, there might be some point where it gets disabled or broken. You should use every method possible to hide your stuff.

To summarize them:
1.In a private realm if possible

2. Completely buried in non obvious locations

3. Multiple caches widely spread, so if they find one, either through luck or hacks, they won't get everything.

5. At least one cache in the middle of nowhere that you have the coords for so you always have a backup supply of stuff.

6.If you trust someone in another realm, you might ask them to hold a backup cache as well. Stuff in 2 realms is extra protection.

Im sure there are ways to travel into a realm despite it being private.

There are mods that are more effective than transparent texture packs and will spot your chests regardless of how they are hidden which are publicly available.

You chests will be found and will be looted. Its a part of being on a public server. Man up and deal with it.

Others can still access chests when a realm is private, as long as the chest is not blocked off.
