I'd just like to point out a couple things from a successful raider's point of view.
1) If I did my job right, you'll never know you were raided. I try to always replant farms and close up my access tunnels. This lets you keep using the farm, which means I can keep coming back. The last thing I want is for you to move your farm.
2) Wasting a potion of fire resistance (or other valuable resources) isn't worth the cost for multiple trips. I'll just clean you out, laugh at any ban requests, and start tracking you from your portal to find your new farm.
The Moral of the Story: Please stop wasting my time with lava flows that only slow me down a little.
