I updated to 1.9 full the INSTANT I got on MC, but now I see the server hasn't updated yet... when is the wipe happening and the new world?

At this point, we're waiting on the good folks at Bukkit to get their program updated. After that, I think Intelli will be doing the wipe/update pretty quickly.

K, I think I can wait.. it should be done by tomorrow right? Guess while I wait I'll fool around with the Picket Edition, right? For now I need someone to link me to a download of the 1.8.1, so I can keep playing, if you can feel free to link me to it.

I believe it took about one week for bukkit to update.
Or it felt like a week.

Bukkit generally updates within 48 hours of the release. Considering there have been prereleases this time around, it may be sooner. I'd be surprised if MineRealm isn't back up this time tomorrow.
