Minecraft.net?

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem... I try and log into Minecraft but it says 'Can't connect to minecraft.net' but when I go to the actual website the page loads and everything seems fine...

the game login database has its own uptime independent of the minecraft website.

Yeah... I'm having this problem... but my brother is playing just fine on the mac next to me -.-

Maybe it has to do with downgrading? I tried and now everything seems fsked up. Gettting the can't connect error. 0-0

I haven't had any problems like that. I always connect i just can't access mine realm because its outdated.

Im having the same problem, i havent downgraded or anything, just wouldnt work once i got home. but the in browser one works just fine

There's a bug with the new launcher. The new launcher can't connect to the login servers anymore. I just had my friend test it on his computer.
