New Launcher and Command Line

Alright so the new launcher came out today and can be found here. Just download the client like you normally would and run it. The cool thing about it is the command line stuffs you can run through it. The only thing you can do right now, at least I think, is enter your username and password along with your favorite Minecraft server. This will allow you to login to Minecraft.net and connect to your favorite server all in one click.

So, to get this setup

open up Notepad (sorry Mac people, don't think it'll work the same way on a Mac)

Type this
Code: Select all
CD LocationofMinecraft.exe
Minecraft <Username><Password><Server:Port>
Mine looks like this
Code: Select all
CD C:\Users\Spritzo\Documents\Minecraft
Minecraft Spritzo PASSWORD game.minerealm.com
Then save it as "Autologin.bat" as All Files to wherever you want on your computer. And .exe is not required at the end of the first line. Run it and you should automatically connect to Minecraft and your server!

you could also just put <Username> <Password> <Server:Port> into a short cut that points to the launcher.
