I was walking along doing minecrafty things when I lost connection to the server and got an "abort receive failure" message. At least I think that's what it was, these things happen all the time.

When I immediately relogged, the server treated me as a new player. I was droppped on the roof of the spawn building and my inventory was wiped.

After inquiring in chat, I learned that this has happened to a few others. Can something be done to prevent it from happening again?

EDIT - If you can't track down the bug soon, could you implement logs to enable reimbursment of victims until the problem is fixed? I don't think people should get free stuff for playing badly, but this has nothing to do with gameplay. I know this server is your playground Intelli, but on professional servers these things are taken seriously.

I don't know if this is related but apparently I am always online now but I am not actually online.
