Grammar and spelling

I have been having trouble understanding some players because of their blatant disregard for the English language.
Imagine being a mod or an admin seeing a sentence like this:
Can you loose youre realm if their our less then two people?
Sometimes I have no idea what you mean or what to say back to you.
Everyone please start using the correct form of:
there, their or they're
our or are
your and you're
then and than
lose and loose
Watch spelling on:
dungeon
diamond
obsidian

Since some people may not know which ones to use, a brief explanation may be in order.
There- a place. I found diamonds over there.
Their- possessive. Yes, but that is their land.
They're- they are. They're gonna kill me for digging in their mine.
Our- possessive. That's our land!
Are- plural and second person form of 'to be'. We are going to lava all griefers.
Your- possessive. They burned down your town!
You're- you are. You're gonna declare war, right?
Then- usually time related. Pillage, then burn!
Than- a comparative. Nothing's worse than a creeper to the face.
Lose- verb, to not win. I can make you lose the game.
Loose- adjective, not tight. This is merely a loose guide.
Were- verb, past second and plural form of 'to be'. We were gonna lava the griefers, but then they were banned.
We're- we are. We're going to get these words right now, right?
EDIT:
Whole- the entirety of something. I've got a whole stack of arrows with your name on it!
Hole- an empty space in something. Freakin' creepers blew a hole in my wall!
Accept- to claim or receive. I'm happy to accept a stack of diamonds from you...
Except- contrary conjunctive. Except that you stole them from me in the first place!
Affect- verb, to change something. Creepers don't affect obsidian.
Effect- noun, the result of the change. My walls are obsidian, so creepers have no effect.

I love that this has been posted. Maybe now I won't have to sit with public chat turned off as much.

To and too can also be confused (Really stupid people might confuse two as well).
Too means excessively, as in: There is
too much lava over here.
To can be used in multiple ways including in the direction of, or as a preposition as in: I'm going
to the lava.
Can you figure out which goes where in this sentence?
I'm was going ??? the griefed area ??? fix it but there were ??? many spiders and I died.
The answers are: to; to; and too.
Also, alot is not a word, use a lot:

No offense, but your example was 100% understandable. The grammar was wrong, but that didn't make it hard to understand. Someone has to really blow it before we don't know what they are saying, and i really don't see too much of that. In fact, i don't recall ever seeing anything written so poorly you could not understand at all what the person was trying to say.

I got tripped up on the "their our" part, mostly because "our" and "are" aren't pronounced the same way in my head.

Well I am going to say that myself, grammer and spelling will never get along. This is because I have Dyslexia, I don't see spelling and grammer mistakes unless I re read my work months later, and it is not me just having a
blatant disregard for the English language.
And therefore I am not sorry for any problems people have reading my things because I can't help it, I do try to check things I write before I hit post or in the chat enter but as many have seen it not really a big help.
I also I'm not going into the hole thing of Dyslexia there really no way of understanding unless you have it and it effects others different ways so that not really a big help either. You want to know more google it

In that case, this probably isn't aimed at you, Boylan. You're doing pretty well there, actually, but some people who have no reason other than laziness or a bad education are also making these mistakes, so I, at least, would like to see that there is a resource here that can help them fix that. No, I can't MAKE anyone, but the real world certainly can.
Also, an admin told you all to fix it.

I would just like to point out that not everyone who plays on this server is from an English speaking country or uses English as their primary language. Of those that are English speaking, I'm sure many are young and are still in the process of getting their papers red-inked.
In short: your request seems petty and you should learn to not be annoyed by grammatical errors.
