You didn't see this coming? I don't recall whether I ever expressed it, but I personally do NOT want a spawn anywhere near me.

Oh i knew it was coming... Thankfully, after 1.9 most of that area is getting wiped and we will no longer be a spawn... phew.

See this doesn't bother me at all. The outside realms of Roanoke are similiar but Spawn City started out the same way and look at it now. Such is the price of development.

That was what made me rethink sending the /setspawn. In 1.9 I will walk way out to the middle of nowhere and make one... Maybe.

It would be fine if the spawn city owned a bit more land around it. New Frogtown hopes to become a spawn and it owns (or will own in like.. 2 days) a 64 realm square surrounding the proposed spawn point. In addition there is a huge wall around this 8 realm X 8 realm square, and the inside is separated into 4 quadrants to specify what can be built there (themes for building so it isn't so hodgepodge). I think it will work quite nicely :-) In addition we have a subway system in the works, and people can take it elsewhere to build outside of the city if they wish. The various tracks (I think we have like 12-16 under construction) will drop them off at a distance where they won't ruin the area around New Frogtown with clutter.
Being a spawn doesn't have to be bad.
