Stuff Disappeared from my Chest?

Earlier today, the server was very full, and lagging pretty bad (block lag). I went out with 3 steel axes and a diamond pickaxe. I collected about 3 stacks of plain logs and a stack of birch. Along the way, I killed a few creepers and got enough gunpowder to make another block of TNT. During this period Intelli restarted the server a couple of times.

So I go down to my chests. They are at bedrock level in a walled-in private realm with no way of accessing them, and I am the only member of all of my realms. I make a block of TNT and add it to the rest, put it in one chest along with my 4 stacks of logs. Then I put my diamond pickaxe and my leftover axes in another chest. I grab a hoe and a minecart and head to the surface to work on my farm. Before I can do anything, I have to log off.

Fast forward 5 hours, I log back in, and I have my hoe and my minecart in my inventory still. But when I go to my chests to grab some wood, all 4 stacks are gone, my diamond pick is gone, my axes are gone, and the one TNT I made is also M.I.A.

So, did lag screw up the chests? Or did a ghost come and steal my stuff

PS: I have no pictures for proof, and I know admin can't replace the stuff anyways.

There's a glitch where you can open chests in private realms. Maybe someone was fast enough to break the blocks, and open the chest?

First, Intelli said that glitch was fixed.
Second, the chest is well within the realm walls. They'd have to dig all the way through bedrock, then dig a tunnel through at least 10 blocks of private realm. Also, there is no evidence of a hole in the underground area.

EDIT: Also, a sign I had placed disappeared. Seeing as it all happened during this one timeframe, I'm thinking it probably had something to do with the lag/server restarts.

Some redstone repeaters disappeared from my chests before... Shampoo_Lord blamed Endermen but... I doubt it.

Yes, this has happened to me before, and my friend on a different server. Fairly sure it's due to lag issues :/

The same thing happened to me today, I logged on and the majority of my diamonds and all my iron in the form of iron blocks had vanished. I am the only one who has rights to my realm at this point. I don't know if anything else disappeared, those were just what stood out as missing. I know it isn't possible to roll back player's chests, so it is very unlikely this can be resolved.

This happened to me when 1.7.3 was still going and I was converting my stacks of iron blocks to ingots.

I had 2 stack of Iron blocks and after had only 17 stacks of iron ingots. To this day I am not sure where the rest went lol (btw I should have had 18 stacks of ingots)

When we switched to the ramdisk, there was a 1 hour rollback.

Was there another rollback last night? I just logged on Minerealm and more items are gone, in my tools chest the few diamond tools I had deposited are completely gone? Seems like I'm slowly loosing my items. xD Also, there is some randomly placed wheat in my chests, 3 wheat in one spot and other 2 wheat in another.

Edit: And cool profile pic, Intelli. :)
