So when i log onto dev it works but before i get in it says "you are not whitelisted on this server"

I want to play some sort of minerealm and apparently dev is the way to go
Is there anyway to get whitelisted?

You have to be special.

Dev is a development server. It gets whitelisted when active work is being done on it. It is not intended to be a public server.

Dont question him. Obviously they are testing features that will be in the minerealm updates. Derp.

Course i dont understand why it wasnt whitelisted in the firstplace.. Guess intelli likes giving people a half of a cookie then putting the rest in a lockbox on the topshelf, guarded by endermen. Who knows

There is no guarantee the dev server will be public. 1.8 will be on the main survival server whenever bukkit updates to a stable enough release not to crash and corrupt the map every few minutes.

And it is definitely not stable yet.
