The National Pun Society, established July 7th, 2011, is here to ensure kudos is given to the funniest of comedians. We offer compensation in the form of Realm Credits to award your efforts in creating the punniest of jokes. Needless to say, for the greatest of comedians who are looking to make some credits, this society is right on the money.

Every pun delivered on a Forum thread will allot you a 20 Realm Credit reward, collectable in-game within 48 hours of delivering your delicious punchline. 20 Credits before tax, I mean to say. I hope that doesn't deduct from your interest in conjuring the best comedy on the planet. Follow up your joke with another one, and we'll double the offer! The pun must be of the same caliber as the first, though. But hey, it's always worth a -shot- to try.

Every pun delivered in-game will give you a 10 Realm Credit reward before tax. While forum rewards are 20 credits and in-game are only 10, I want to remind you to be sure you don't half-ass the puns.

Why does the NPS do this? We feel the server is long overdue for a well-deserved -pun-ishment. We hope you can bask in the comedic glory as much as we do. Hopefully, we can pool our efforts and eventually have the server swimming with puns.

This seems like a good idea to give credit to those who give people a good laugh. However it also gives too much incentive for people to just spam the forums and chat with bad jokes and puns.

Man I suck at this, if I spend the time I wasted trying to think of a pun on digging, I'd have made way over 20 credits
Phun idea though

I take it people are italicizing random words without any rhyme or reason simply because they think Panthers will give them free money.

I will one up all of you by italicizing entire sentences.
