So say two idiots griefed my house and take all my red wool carpet consisting of at least 250 blocks & say said idiots were so dumb as to proceed to build a giant sign outside my house with this very same red wool, is it justified for me to take back said wool, at the moment the admin online is unable to help me and I've no doubt that these two idiots building the sign took the red wool from my house, they are new to the server as well as the area by my home and for them to coincidently have so much red wool and build a sign within the same hour mine was taken seems unlikely.

Anyways question being can I take it back without worry of being banned or should I wait till tomorrow when a mod might be online to help? Personally I'd love to take it back right in their faces XD but haveing been with this server for 8 months I wouldn't want to get banned now

Well my vault was griefed today by someone. I would not suggest taking it back because it messes with the evidence. I replaced the spot that had been griefed but luckily I forgot a part. An admin was trying to check it but because i had replaced it made it hard for him to find out who did it. Unless you have absolute proof that you can show to admins then you should leave it so they can find out who did it and ban them appropriately.

I have no intention of repairing the damage these two have caused, but just now i found all the proof i need to continue and take it back. my house needs 198 wool blocks to fill the carpet area, i went over to their sign they made and counted each block they have... to no surprise they have exactly 198! big shocker there so there is no longer any doubt they took it, I will take it back and later when a mod is online have them both banned!

Don't take it upon yourselves to repair griefing before a mod or admin has had a chance to investigate. It's easier for them to make bans when you don't do things like this. All they have to do is check to see either a) who removed your wool or b) who placed all that wool in the sign.

Hahaha I know all about how to catch a griefer, my mansion is greifed every single day litterally, just ask Kero XD the griefer was banned and it was the person who made the sign just as I suspected, the only actions I took was taking down said sign and getting back my wool I just found it hilarious that they were so dumb as to build the sign right outside my house while i was there watching them XD some griefers are just plain dumb. The reason I posted this post was to ensure that when I destroyed the flag made of my wool, I wouldn't be banned for griefing them sadly only one of the two were banned as only the one griefed my house (personally I think since the other was aware and agreed to take my wool for their tower, that he should be banned too) but I left a sign for the other warning him his friend was banned and if he comes near my town he will be as well!
