Hey all,
I really hate to ask this, because the admins probably get asked for items non-stop, but I really feel like I'm in my right here.
I was in the nether, looking for glowstone, after I lost 2 stacks when I fell off a ledge into the lava...
I found an unexploited spot, and was up to 4 or 5 stacks glowdust, when I noticed another batch not too far away. When I was as good as there, my character started glitching, I had a bit of lag, and the next moment I was in the lava, even though I was crouching the whole time. Right when I died a 'you've reached the end of the world' notification popped up...
So, please, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could restore that glowdust I lost, it was 4 or 5 stacks...
My character name is also cgpirre, I got a realm so if you will restore it, you could put it in a chest or something. I don't know if you can check it in the logs, but it happened just after 11am GMT+1.

It would be quite a hectic world if I had to cater to giving everyone back their items. If I were to submit to your riveting tale of why you want free items, I would have to listen to the others as well (to be consistent, of course).

So uh, no. People have lost a lot more and asked for a lot less. Carry on, good sir.

You're not "in the right" if the reason you lost your items was because of your own misfortune/clumsiness.

Next time you could press F3 so you don't hit the border.

Thanks anyway, panthers, understandable. I was just so very pissed and disappointed when I wrote that post, it's quite...frustrating to loose 3 hours of 'work' due a glitch. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

To everyone else, no need to be such smartasses. I've lost plenty of things due to my own stupidity, but this was different. I was taking every precaution possible (except checking if I was near the border, who expects that..?), yet my char got stuck, started glitching around, and I went from 25 high to lava in milliseconds.

I would be the last person on the internet trying to get free stuff by making things up. I prefer to 'work' for my things, like I've always done.

PS I write 'work' in quotes because you can't really call spending too much free time in a game work, lol, but you get the idea.

At least I found a load of clay and pumpkins after this happened, so I got a bit of motivation back, heh. Almost got enough for my second realm too

It's not really a glitch, when you hit the border, it teleports you back. It just so happened that your "back" was in lava.
