is there a possibility of getting all of the shades of grey onto creative because I'd really love it if there was because I need a certain shade that isnt included at the moment for a pixel art piece that I want to do and it doesnt look right using the two shades available

This kind of request is for Notch, as it is gameplay content.
But if Intelli wanted to, I am sure he could work something out.

As Notch is releasing an official creative mode with 1.8 (which will hopefully be just as good as ours), we're not focusing on updating creative presently.
