i has now updated my minecraft but i cant join cause it says its an outdated server =(

Minerealm uses the major plugin called Bukkit to control much of its features, and every major update Bukkit's developers have to come up with a new build, followed by Intelli updating his own plugins to match Bukkit and Minecraft 1.7. It's normally a one day to several day endeavor to get everything working together smoothly. The map will remain the same; everything will be the same, just updated.

Anyways Bukkit has taken over 4 days to update before.

Yep, I updated too and now i cant get online. Looks like no minecrafting for me this weekend

How does it take 4 days for the server to update to such a tiny update anyway?

It probably won't take that long for this update because it is so small. That time, the update was huge. The reason is the shear amount of coding. Its insane.

I'm not looking forward to the bukkit delay after the supposed massive 1.8 update which is going to reshape the whole combat system and a lot of other gameplay mechanics :S
