what the hell is with the glitch where when i tp home i suddenly fall off minecraft, and than suddenly im on fire?! and of course, i cant figure out whats wrong because of the dumb flying auto kicker which is useless except for banning innocents. i dont even have the fly mod! my computer is hard to even try to get mods on! so, fix it please!

Same thing happens to me.
When I use the /home command, the floor under me won't load and I'm in mid air.
Most of the time, I fall infinitely and get damaged every other second, so I would have to exit the game and come back for the glitch to go away. If I don't I usually die and lose all my items.
I sometimes do get kicked by the anti-fly security, although I'm falling due to the /home glitch. I'm pretty sure it's because of too many people on the server at the same time. When there are less than 50 people on, it almost never happens.

It's generally just a bug with the chunk loading + teleporting, where it tries to load in chunks further out, thus making you fall into oblivion forever. It's not really anything that can be fixed right now, but one thing I found that helps is dropping the draw distance from Far to Normal. Mods will of course make it less stable and crash more often, but if you're not running any I recommend playing with that draw distance, or even reinstalling 'Craft.

Okay. I am SERIOUSLY freaked out now. I am hoping SO hard that a mod edited his posts. Otherwise, the apocalypse is coming early...

Oh and I have a similar problem. I haven't fallen completely or gotten hurt, I joust bounce up and down in the glitch. Logging on and off fixes it.

So when someone is intelligent, it is surprising and you have to make up fake excuses as to why? I'd try to learn from him.

This sounds like a chunk error. It happens quite often in any SMP game. I find that it's as easy to fix as disconnecting and reconnecting again, as that's exactly what you need to do.
