Downtown Privatization and Improvement - Step 1!

Today I earned enough credits to buy my second realm, and I decided on this little "gem:"
It has a few griefed buildings, and two structures. One of these, the one closer to you, I shall keep and improve perhaps. I have named this the Avalon City Center, as I hope it will be the center of a privatized ( yet open to all) city with large, beautiful buildings and illustrious public works. I encourage those thinking about building downtown to buy realms in the area, and let us work together to build something wonderful.

Please don't buy realms around spawn that you don't intend to sell later. You think you're helping the server, but in reality you're only picking up land that all the new players would use.

Buy protecting shit structures, I'm endangering the server. Seriously. Protecting a bunch of 13 year old noob structures doesn't help anyone. I plan on making public structures ( a hotel, for one), better roads, fountains, etc.

And force new players out of spawn so they get griefed less and save tons of despair? Sure, why not.

it would then be kinda hard to catch greifers wouldn't it? that was the purpose of spawn farm in 2.0.

It doesn't make it any easier or more difficult. If a griefer wants to grief, he will walk the 100 blocks to do it. If he's 10 years old, he will give up before he goes that far. The problem solves itself.
I'd much rather prefer to have new players learn to gtfo from spawn than just a catch a few more stupid griefers every day. We can catch them regardless with a handy dandy sign.

I read that thread... how dumb. All spawn says now is that:
1. No one gives a shit
2. No experienced players build on this server
3. Grieving is fine
4. Implies that wonderful buildings cannot be built legit (You'll see... )
None of these should be true.

You're right, new players don't realize how many extensive realms do actually exist here.
Does the map actually update daily?
