A temporary alleviation for what ails you most: minecraft withdrawl.

I've started a pure server (no mods or restrictions) with a newly generated map so we can explore the new content while we wait for minerealm to come back up.

This is just a temporary server so don't grow attached to anything you build

It's hard to find a lot of human evidence there, just a couple of stone forts.

A pure vanilla server is a wild ravenous beast. You can attempt to tame it, or you can hide from it.

PvP is on; there is no safe zone.
Fire and lava will burn blocks.
There are no restrictions.

The only safety granted to you is an illusion perpetuated by the belief that a morally acting person will remain morally acting behind closed doors.

Don't be fooled by the desolate anterior. Not seeing any activity on the top just means they're doing it right.

no kidding, i am logged out with my diamond pick and shovel on me, and some dude in full iron with sword is just hanging out on the spot where i logged out =(.
