Hello people hopefully staff. There is an island around 960 -3820 that I am considering claiming for an amusement park/casino/resort. I think it could be a unique build for the server. However, it is definitely manmade. There is one double chest of dirt there as well as an ender chest. I did not see any signs or recent things showing that it is being used. I am going to give it a week or so before actually building there but I would love to know if staff can find out who built the island and see if they are an active member. I also am not quite sure on the rules surrounding this sort of thing. Thank you!

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I also put signs on the island near the center where the chests were so that the owner could see if they logged on.

In general, the rule is that you shouldn't buy land someone is currently building on. Otherwise, it's pretty much fair game as long as you return any items asked for. Of course, asking staff is always a good idea.
