When trying to craft a banner, it appears in the crafting output for a split second when the recipe is completely in place, then immediately vanishes before it can be taken. I'm not seeing any note of bugs with banner crafting anywhere else, which would indicate that banners are either bugged or disabled on this server specifically. If they are disabled, what is the reason for this?

To see for yourself, the recipe to craft a banner is: top and middle row filled with wool blocks (all of the same color), stick in bottom middle spot. Similar to recipe for signs, except with wool.

Oh, dang. I had assumed the server was updated because it's letting me on with an updated 1.8 client (and I didn't see any explicit notifice when connecting that the server was still on 1.7.x). So, nevermind then!
