Not sure if this has anything to do with updating to 1.7.2. So am I the only one having trouble getting into the server?

Just gives me a "Can't reach server" …. Please help?

Are you able to join others servers and just not Minerealm?

Yeah, I tried logging into a different server and I am able to. I changed the settings under profile to 1.6.4. But when I try and join mine realm, the server cannot be found.

I also know that the server is online because I was able to log on from my phone and even now I can't find the server from my phone as well.

Which version am I supposed to be use to connect to MR?

Intelli told me he'd fixed the problem.

Can you type 'tracert game.minerealm.com' into your command prompt for me and post a screenshot of your results here?

I'm playing minecraft on my MAC, so I'm not sure if the command prompt will be the same as what you are looking for.

I doubt the game server is down. or is it?

Looks like the server is auto-IP banning people who try to connect with 1.7.4

To fix or not to fix...

Hm, it does say in red letters "server cannot be reached". That's a sign of having your IP banned? Wouldn't it at least tell you number of people online?

Yep this happened to me earlier, fortunately Intelli Fixed it right away

On Mac you can use your terminal and use the same command.

However, let this be a lesson: Don't try connecting on an incompatible client.

Note to Intelli: I know next to nothing about networking, but I imagine this would have something to do with the new networking system of 1.7 'netty'.

I didn't even pay attention to what version my client was under. I just opened MC and attempted to get on the server. I guess it just auto updated without a notification.
