Theif that sees through walls

I think its safe to say we have a thief using the See through ground trick (texture pack with clear ground blocks), I have now been robbed a second time after moving my vault even more hidden then my old one & someone just happened to dig down a second time right to it???
Is there any way to protect us from this, cause otherwise there is no even semi-safe place to hide stuff. lately a lot of people are have problems with thief issues.
can we use the protected chest or maybe my bank idea but only for donators prehaps.
right now i honestly have no idea what to do with my stuff because clearly hiding is no longer effective enough.

Here is a few things you can do to protect yourself from the "see-thru" pack.
1. When hiding your important chests, make sure to cover the chests completely and do NOT make a room for that chest. The transparent pack is capable of seeing "pockets" of air (in other words, it can see through walls to find areas of the map where blocks don't exist. Also known as caves or rooms that people build). If someone using the pack sees a pocket underground around your home, they will check it out.
2. Live farther from spawn. It's very simple, the farther you are from spawn, the better off you are. I've said it a few times, [RCK] is 5100+ blocks away from spawn and we have never been found. Also, I believe the map is 32k x 32k, you have PLENTY of space to move around and find a home with resources.
3. Make multiple chests for your important items, don't make only one chest. Also carry some stuff with you, it may be a bit dangerous at times, sure, but you'll have your stuff with you. Drop it off somewhere you know is safe.
4. Trust no one.
I have used the transparent pack and I used it early on during alpha to find chests that may contain duped items. Now that we're in beta, it's pretty difficult to dupe so the transparent pack is more for finding resources much quicker. Of course, this ruins the game for most people and some could consider it exploiting. That's a bit up in the air though, seeing as that having different texture packs is allowed. Someone out there was clever and decided to make one the allowed you to see through the ground. So using that pack is more-so up to Intelli than me or the other mods. I personally would tell you not to use it as I'm sure Intelli would not be pleased about it at all. I do think though that this also falls under the "don't get caught rule," but again, I'll let Intelli decide that.

it really takes all the fun out of the game, because theres no more adventure. I remember when I found a chest full of diamond blocks and I thought I was set for life but it just made minecraft so boring. Fortunately someone stole them all from me so im back to square one and everything is awesome again. By the way, all this happened on a different server *wink* because I would NEVER cheat!

yeah i've used it myself to try and find dungeons, but it's just annoying not being able to see the ground & makes finding a dungeon not as special!!!!
i found three so far (not cheating) the first day we were on this map, one in my mob trap & a third along a cavern. no records or apples though

The only time I have ever fudged the rules was to use the gravel glich to locate a mob spawner that I had been trying to find forever! Man those mobs get annoying.
Btw rule #2 no longer is true. lightbulbs tryed to get into my realm: Wings of Heaven.
Which is located near the END of the map.

You realize this topic is two months old, right? Also, I have my home set outside your realm, though I'd rather not say way...

That's because you specifically were targeted. A random griefer probably won't bother going out beyond 500 blocks, and I personally have had success in locating myself way out in the wilderness.
I'd also like to suggest:
5. Put out some decoy targets. A huge castle, with some kind of basement complex with chests, is a total time sink, which could mean the difference between your REAL stashes being found.

o.O lol I don't care much. once the wall is finished and there is a lock on the gate we are going to open up for visitors and add a hotel and stuff for guest.

This would be a lot more convincing if you didn't have an xray pack on in your signature.

Doesn't look like a transpareny pack to me.
