this brings up alittle bit of concern with me to be honest.

alot of the things we use are not renewable like DIAMONDS

iron gold lapiz redstone D: what happens when there is none left wouldnt our world die? much like irl with the oil and what not?

(sorry just a 2am thought)

There are 625x625 chunks on the map. Each chunk contains one diamond ore vein. Let's say the average vein contains 4 diamonds.

625x625x4 = 1 562 500 diamonds.

And then lets say people dig up 100 diamonds per day, that means we'll either lose 15625 diamonds per day, or thats how long it will take to dig up all the diamonds.

1. You bumped an old topic. Please look at time stamps.
2. The map has ravines, nether strongholds, villages. Just no jungles.

Does this mean that just owned realms will never be wiped or the entire map. Because eventually the map will have to be updated because there will be so much new content that the old map just won't have (cough jungles cough).

It is likely that nothing about the map will ever wipe again. The only chance to get new features will be via a map expansion.
